Academic Qualifications

Absolute Minimum Requirement:

A degree in Chemical or Industrial Engineering
Preference will be given to candidates that have:
A Masters Degree in Engineering; or
Have successfully completed additional studies (degree or post graduate level) in the areas of:
- Economics,
- Policy and Regulation
- Finance
- Project Management
- Operations Research or Analytics

Experience

At least 5 years’ experience in a corporate and / or consulting environment. Experience in the energy industry and specifically oil and gas in the following areas would be preferred:

Oil Refining / Manufacturing
Process Engineering, Plant Design and Optimisation
Power Generation and Transmission
Energy Management
National Policy Formulation
Regulatory Economics, Macro Economics
Corporate Strategy Development
Operations Management
Supply Chain Planning and Optimisation
Programme and Project Management
Risk Management
Stochastic Simulation and LP/MIP Modelling
Systems / Software Specification, Development and Implementation
